2010
SEMPO Yell Adworks UK receive special status from the professional Search Marketing Association, the SEMPO Institute. Yell Adworks hold SEMPO Platinum Corporate Seal for its UK operations.
2008
INVESTORS IN PEOPLE In 2008 we receive our Investors in People certification.
2008
The Sunday Times 50 Best Green Companies Award In May 2008 we are acclaimed as one of the 50 Best Green Companies in Britain by The Sunday Times. Following an extensive survey throughout the UK that tested the environmental commitment of hundreds of companies, we are positioned twenty-ninth.
2007
Green Apple Gold Award In November 2007 we receive the Gold Award in the Print and Publishing Category of the Green Apple Awards hosted by The Green Organisation. The Gold Award was received in recognition of our outstanding efforts in reducing and offsetting our carbon emissions.
Scotland's Health At Work - Bronze Standard We are awarded the Bronze standard for our initiatives in employee health and wellbeing. SHAW is a National Award Programme for promoting health in the workplace and has been created to meet the challenge of ensuring the continued success of Scottish industry.
2006
EFQM Committed to Excellence Recognition For business excellence as recognised by the European Foundation for Quality Management in Brussels. This recognition is for our achievements in implementing a business improvement plan over a period of one year.
Green Apple Award We received the Green Apple Award for our environmental policy. This award is a long running celebration of companies' achievements in managing environmental issues run by the Green Organisation. They are an independent, non-political, non-activist, non-profit environment group dedicated to recognising, rewarding and promoting environmental best practice around the world.
OHSAS 18001 We pass the Stage 2 OHSAS 18001 health and safety standard audit. OHSAS 18001 is an international occupational health and safety management system specification and our recognition came after a full assessment of our Health and Safety policies, procedures and documentation.
2005
ISO 14001 An environmental award recognising our commitment to excellence and to the environment.
IT Infrastructure Library Award (ITIL) ITIL provides our IT Service Management Team with a set of best practices which have enabled them to provide effective 24 hour support to our staff and customers. To date we have achieved an average score of 4.1 out of a possible 5, putting us, along with Yell, in the top 10% of UK businesses.

UK Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development People Management Award The UK's most prestigious award for people management and development, the initiatives that won us this award have transformed our business.
1999
BPIF Pre-Press Company of the Year Award Awarded to us by the British Printing Industry Federation.
1995
Inside UK Enterprise Award Awarded by the Department of Trade and Industry, 'Inside UK Enterprise', in recognition of our contribution to improving competitiveness in UK industry and commerce.

ISO 9001 In October 1993 we gained ISO9001 certification. This is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It recognises control of products and services to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met.

DTI - Department of Trade and Industry Manufacturing Intelligence Award Awarded to us by the UK Department of Trade and Industry for our pioneering use of Artificial Intelligence in complex directory pagination.
