The Technical Lead will be part of a highly capable development team that is responsible for the development and delivery of key application. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, keen to stay up to date with technical advancements, particularly in areas related to J2EE. The value in this position stems from the candidates ability to adopt new technologies in a fast changing business environment with the aim of improving the business' efficiency, on-time quality delivery, competitiveness and agility. The Technical lead will need the ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Strong experience of Java / J2EE projects
• Strong hands-on experience on Spring, Hibernate, JSP/Servlets as Tech Lead with at least 1 project implementation experience
• Exposed to design, implementation and deploying of high-throughput J2EE/Linux/Windows production systems.
• Strong Java/JBOSS(Tomcat & Apache)/Ruby on Rails, Servlets, JMS, JSP development and architecture experience
• Expertise in Java Script, AJAX , html Web Technologies.
• Database and PL/SQL code performance analysis and ability to write well performing Oracle code.
• Strong Oracle database administration, SQL Server development and production support skills
• Strong skills in logical and physical relational database design.
• Provide technical leadership to the development teams.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure systems delivered meet expectations.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent.

Work Experience:

• 6+ years in the IT industry
• 2+ years of experience in leading a team of small size
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in designing and developing web and internet based systems

Computer/Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of continuous integration environment
• Ability in one or more of the following
• Java
• J2EE
• JBOSS Application Servers

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to act as a leader within a team and motivate others to meet deadlines.
• Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
