Giving something back is very important to Yell Adworks. We wish to act as a responsible member of the communities in which we operate and our commitment to charitable causes is just one way in which we demonstrate it. We encourage our people to embrace the volunteering opportunities open to them.
Read on for more information relating to what we have done during the business year ending in March 2010.
In India we are passionate about supporting our local communities. Every year we have no shortage of volunteers from our people who donate their time and support willingly.
Providence Convent - Kitchen Project
The Providence Convent is a non-profit missionary school run by
the F.M.M Sisters in Bangalore. Over the last year we have
continued our support to the missionary school and have overseen
the completion of the Kitchen Construction Project. Yell Adworks
provided a well-equipped kitchen facility for the school. Today
students are receiving good quality midday meals in a vibrant and
stimulating environment.
Devnar Blind School
The Devnar Blind School is a project based out of Hyderabad which
supports over 300 visually challenged children. The school focuses
upon value-based education aimed to equip the children with the
skills that will ultimately allow them to lead productive lives in
mainstream community. The school relies on donations and during the
past year our India employees again showed their generosity with
donations of greatly needed clothes, blankets and food.
Leadership Adoption Program for Schools (l.e.a.p.s
program)
l.e.a.p.s, in India is a unique initiative aimed at partnering
with individuals and institutions to support schools that are in
need of leadership development programs. The schools involved are
typically found in under privileged areas of the country. Our
Bangalore employees are getting involved and donating cash to
support the initiative.
'Save a Child' Orphanage
The 'Save A Child' Organization is located in Secunderabad, India
and takes care of 35 children between the ages of 5-15 years of
age. Our Hyderabad employees have provided practical support and

grocery staples such as rice, wheat, oil, lentils, bath soaps and
washing powder.

children. They are provided with education, food and medical
support. Our Bangalore employees raised money for much needed
